【祈福英语实验学校（中学）】Grade 7 & 8 Student of the Month Awards

Last month for student nominees, our teachers looked for pupils on a range of criteria from bubbly personality, improving vocabulary use, confidence, team work, enthusiasm and participation in their studies. It takes many facets to make a happy classroom environment and successful learning to take place. Congratulations to all selected students for the hard work, determination, and positive attitude to their language learning lessons and for making your teachers and classmates enjoy having you as part of the class.

Mr.Steven Lum : Shannon is a hard-working student who tries hard to improve her language ability. She often answers questions in class and has shown real improvement in vocabulary use and grammar accuracy this year.

Mrs. Alicia Maldonado : Ruby is a diligent and dedicated student in English class. She finishes all her work on time, comes to class prepared, and raises her hand to answer questions. She has almost perfect scores on her vocab tests. She was the second student to complete over 15 book reports for term 2. Keep up the good work, Ruby!

Mr. Adam Kaynak : Angel has been a student who has been always giving her best in the 1st and 2nd semester. She completes her class assignments, reading activities and performs very well in project presentations. Well done Angel and keep up the great effort.

Mr. Jeff Walker : Amy Z has shown incredible growth this year, gaining confidence and becoming a more vocal participant in class. Her lively personality and enthusiasm brings joy and entertainment to the classroom, making her a standout student. Keep shining, Amy, your energy is contagious!

Mr. Michael Harrison : In April, I looked at student’s ability to work in a team. But also to motivate others to be a team. During recent in-class group work and protects, Angela was attentive to the group deadlines. She was also able to recognize the strengths of each group member so that the finished project was successful. Well done Angela. This ability will be valuable in your future.

Mr. David May : This month, I'd like to honor Raymond as our Student of the Month! He may not seek attention, but his dedication to excellence speaks for itself. Whether it’s an assignment, project, or assessment, Raymond puts in his best effort, demonstrating focus, responsibility, and a strong work ethic. He has shown a respectful demeanor and commitment to learning all year. Well done, Raymond. Keep it up. 

Mr. Tashiel Hargovan : Kate has shown tremendous improvement since the beginning of the year. She has shown improvement in class assessments, understanding of the target language and class participation. She also displays confidence in assisting fellow peers during presentations.
