GCC welcomed her first international

students

来自瑞典、俄罗斯、泰国、老挝、越南等17个国家的50余名国际学生来校报到注册。学校对首届国际学生的迎新工作高度重视，成立国际学生迎新工作专班，统筹部署工作方案，做好迎新物资准备、现场报到、生活安排、入学教育等各项工作安排。

More than 50 international students from 17 countries, including Sweden, Russia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and other countries, registered at Guangzhou College of Commerce. GCC attaches great importance to the orientation of the first international students, sets up a special team for the overall work plan, and makes arrangements for materials preparation, on-site registration, living arrangements, enrollment education and other work arrangements.

DZHAGARIAN VADIM, From Russia（俄罗斯）：

I have always been very interested in learning Chinese, and I am extremely happy to be able to come to China to study it. I arrived in Guangzhou just a couple of days ago, and this is my first time here. It's a beautiful city, and I am very interested in Guangzhou. So far, I haven't tried many Chinese dishes; I've only eaten dumplings and tasted some spicy food, but I'm not very good at eating spicy food. I hope to be able to enjoy more delicious cuisine in the future.

我一直对学习中文很感兴趣，能来中国学习中文我非常开心。我前两天才来到广州，是第一次来广州，这里很漂亮，我对广州很感兴趣。目前我还没有尝试过很多中国菜，只吃过饺子，还品尝过一些辣的菜，但是我不大能吃辣的食物，希望以后可以吃到更多的美食。

JANTABOON PRAEWPHAN, From Thailand（泰国）：

I chose to study at GCC because it is a very representative school. Being located in the bustling city of Guangzhou, it offers better opportunities for learning and employment. I aspire to study language and humanities, make many interesting friends, and try traditional Chinese food. There are many aspects of China that intrigue me, especially Chinese opera, through which I have sensed the charm of the Chinese language. I hope to have a wonderful time at GCC in the future.

我选择来广州商学院学习，因为这里是一个很有代表性的学校，在广州这个繁华的城市，会有更好的学习和就业机会。我希望学习语言和人文，交很多有趣的朋友，尝试中国传统食物。我对中国有很多感兴趣的地方，特别是中国戏曲，我通过中国戏曲感受到了中文的魅力，希望今后在广州商学院度过美好的时光。

HOQUE MD.AZIZUL, From Bangladesh（孟加拉国）：

I'm delighted to be at GCC. Guangzhou is a highly developed city economically in China, attracting many people to come here to study business and economics. I hope to excel in learning Chinese at GCC and make more new friends.

很高兴来到广州商学院，广州是中国经济很发达的城市，有很多人来这里学习商务和经济知识，我希望自己在广州商学院把中文学好，结交到更多新朋友。

ILIAZKHANOVA MALIKA, From Kyrgyzstan（吉尔吉斯斯坦）：

Our campus environment is very beautiful and modern, and everything here is fresh and new to me. I hope to gain a deeper understanding of Chinese culture through my studies, acquire knowledge in international trade and psychology, master Chinese well, gain interesting experiences, make more friends, and share the culture of my homeland with them. Traditional Chinese food is something very novel to me. The food I've tried so far is a bit spicy, which I'm not quite used to, but it tastes delicious. I look forward to trying more Chinese cuisine in the future.

广州商学院的校园环境很漂亮，很现代化，这里的一切对我来说都很新鲜。我希望在学习中了解更多中国文化，学习国际贸易和心理学的知识，学习好中文，收获有趣的经历，交更多的朋友，和朋友们分享我的祖国的文化。中国传统食物对于我来说是很新奇的东西，目前尝试过的食物有点辣还不太习惯，但是很好吃，以后还想要尝试更多中国美食。

Today, I participated in the orientation work for international students, leading them to complete the registration and check-in procedures, and providing them with assistance within my scope. 新生入学后，国际学院将围绕国际学生管理规定、

在华法律法规、安全教育、校园适应、心理健康等

方面开展新生入学教育，帮助国际学生新生尽快适

应新生活，开启在广商的美好时光。

After the enrollment of new students, International College will carry out orientation education for international students, focusing on international student management regulations, laws and regulations in China, safety education, campus adaptation, mental health and other aspects to help them adapt to their new life as soon as possible and start a wonderful time in GCC.

2023年12月，我校获广东省教育厅审批，取得国际学生招生资质，并启动国际学生招生相关工作。目前，首批国际学生顺利入学注册，是学校丰富国际化办学内涵，打造国际化办学品牌，实施“引进来”发展战略的重要标志。展望未来，学校将以首届国际学生的培养为契机，做好国际学生教育教学、在校管理等工作，推动学校内涵式发展，提升国际化办学水平。

In December 2023, Guangzhou Collegeof Commerce was approved by the Education Department of Guangdong Province, obtained the qualification to recruit international students and initiated related work. Currently, the successful enrollment and registration of the first batch of international students is an important step for GCC to enrich its international education connotation, build an international education brand, and implement the “bringing in” development strategy. Looking ahead, GCC will take the training of the first international students as an opportunity to improve education and campus management for international students, promote the connotative development of GCC, and enhance our international education standards.
