Or your tender, angelic voices,

Winning over every heart,
And stirring up such delight.
天之骄子人人爱
O humanity’s pride and hope,
So beloved by all,
世间因你而精彩
The world is made glorious by you,

六一儿童节快乐
Happy Children's Day!
还记得去年的六一儿童节吗？
老师们通过几个月的辛苦密训，
在上剧场的舞台为节日的主角——小天使，
完美呈现了赖声川老师的儿童音乐舞台剧《鲸鱼图书馆》，
令每一位光临“图书馆”的“读者”永生难忘。

Do you still remember how we celebrated Children’s Day last year? Our teachers went through months of hard training and appeared on stage at the Theater Above to perform the Stan Lai’s musical drama for children — 'The Whale Library'. This experience, made sure that every “reader” who went on to visit the "library" had a memorable experience filled with wonderful memories.
还记得前年的六一儿童节吗？
老师们一夜之间“变出”超大游泳池，
梦幻的七彩泡泡弥漫在整个操场，
和小天使灿若夏花的笑脸
一同在夏日阳光里闪闪发光。

Do you remember how we celebrated Children's Day the year previous? Our teachers transformed our playground into a giant swimming pool overnight. The smiling faces of our little Angels shone in the bright summer sun as the colorful bubbles began to float onto the entire playground.
今年的儿童节，
老师虽不能和小天使们欢聚一堂，
却为小天使精心准备了一份神秘的节日礼物。
What can we do for our little Angels for this Children’s Day since we’re not together? There will be a very special edition mystery gift for each and every little Angel!
亲手播种的铜钱草
一颗平平无奇的小种子
埋进地球妈妈的土壤里
从那一刻起
就像小王子呵护他的玫瑰花
每天醒来和睡前
都会和它说说悄悄话
给它浇水、松土、晒太阳
期盼它快快发芽长大
终于
它们从泥土里冒出了嫩嫩的小芽
虽然还没能长成期望中的样子
但依然是心中最爱的“玫瑰花”
这一天
把它亲手交给亲爱的小天使
连同园长妈妈亲手撰写的节日小卡
希望在小天使的悉心照料下
渐渐茁壮长大。。。
An unremarkable small seed is planted in the soil of Mother Earth. From that moment, the little Prince cares for his rose - talking to it every morning after waking up and every night before going to bed. He waters it, loosens the soil, and bathes it in the sun. How we wishes it to sprouts up soon. At last, the tender buds sprout from the soil, and although it is small and fragile, it is still the special "rose". Today, we’ll pass this on to our cute little Angels as a gift - with the greeting card handwritten by our dear Principal Yoko, we hope that under the care of the little Angel, it will gradually grow up.
今年的儿童节最大的彩蛋，是老师们竟然也收到来自家长的礼物！
The biggest surprise of this year's Children's Day was the gifts our teachers received from parents!
家长们说：在疫情居家隔离期间，安乔老师们每天两次视频互动聊天，中外老师在2月到5月这4个月中，总共制作了超过1500个内容丰富，题材广泛的精彩视频，引导家长们与孩子们共同度过有趣而不无聊的抗疫居家隔离时光，所以借儿童节表达对安乔全体教职员工的感谢。
Like the parents told us: During the quarantine time at home, the teachers interacted with us through video chat twice a day. The past four months from February to May, the Chinese and foreign teachers made a total of more than 1,500 wonderful videos with rich content and a wide range of topics to guide us in spending fun time with our children at home. As such, we want to express our gratitude to all the Angels teachers and staff this Children's Day.
这真是太令人惊喜了！为人师者，这都是我们该做的事情。家长对我们的心意，着实让我们感动万千！家校之间彼此偷偷的给对方准备惊喜，这样爱的互动应该是给小天使们最好的榜样吧！
This is really amazing! As teachers, this is what we should do - it is the nature of our job. And what our parents did really melted our hearts. Our Angels family secretly prepared surprises for each other; demonstrating the kind of loving interaction which best examplifies the true human spirit for our little Angels!
每个小卡片都是大天使一笔一画手写，并且每一句都不重复，有的幽默、有的温情，真的有心了！
Each little card is hand-written by our big Angels contains a unique message. Some contain humor, and others warmth. We’re truly touched!
这个儿童节，小天使们收获的，并非昂贵的礼物。而是老师们给予的希望种子，让孩子们有责任感，是我们给小天使今年儿童节的礼物与使命。而家长们对老师的温暖心意，更是最好的身教榜样。这样的小天使，长大肯定会是一个懂得感恩而有责任感的宝贝。
On this Children's Day, it is not what our little Angels harvested from school through expensive gifts; it is the seed of hope planted by the teachers, which we hope has given the children a sense of responsibility. It is a gift as well as a mission for our little Angels for Children's Day this year, in addition to the warmth our parents brought to our teachers to showcase the best type of behavior to them.
