AISL Harrow Schools have spread the wings

across various Asian cities over the past 25 years,

and this October, eight AISL Harrow Schools

(Beijing, Chongqing, Haikou, Hengqin Zhuhai,

Nanning, Shenzhen Qianhai, and Appi)

will receive the prestigious Harrow seal

at conferment ceremonies,
in celebration of their achievements

in holistic education.

Governors of Harrow School in the UK,

senior management from AISL Group,

students, and parents

will gather to witness the fruits of

‘educational excellence for life and leadership’.

As the schools uphold the centuries-old

honourable tradition of Harrow,

International Harrovians continue to

excel in character and talent.

今秋10月，英国哈罗校董成员将远渡重洋

出席巡回典礼现场

为参与学校颁发创校纪念印章

寓意AISL各地分校传承哈罗全人教育底蕴

并通过“育以至善，卓以领航”的愿景

发扬光大

1572年，约翰·里昂获伊丽莎白一世女王

授予创校特许状，创立哈罗公学

开启了对卓越教育的百年追求

典礼上颁发的创校纪念印章

便复刻了当年创校特许状上火漆印章的模样

数百年光辉岁月里

英国哈罗一代代的优秀学子

把自己的名字铭刻在四级教室墙上

成为哈罗校园的一个意义深远的标志

而为镶嵌纪念印章所制作的牌匾

在设计上致敬这一传统

将历代杰出校友名字融入其中

激励年轻的哈罗人们继续追随他们的脚步

Seal Conferment Marking

AISL Harrow’s Achievements

In the over 25 years

since the first AISL Harrow School was founded,

each school has practised

the educational ethos of Harrow,

which is based on the core values of

‘Courage, Honour, Humility, and Fellowship’.

Guided by Harrow in the UK and AISL Group,

all AISL Harrow Schools,

long-standing or newly established,

have delivered remarkable performances.

AISL Harrow Schools have received accolades from leading media, moving up in the ranking of prestigious names such as Forbes.

In October, governors from the UK

will present each school

with a commemorative Harrow seal

at the conferment ceremonies.

It symbolises the schools’ close ties

with Harrow in the UK,

and their collective commitment to furthering

‘educational excellence for life and leadership’.

In 1572, John Lyon was granted a Royal Charter

by Queen Elizabeth I

to found Harrow School,

thus starting its centuries-long pursuit of

educational excellence.

The commemorative seals to be conferred

at the ceremonies

carry a replica of the same wax seal

from that very Royal Charter.

Over the centuries, generations of Harrovians

have carved their names on the walls of

the Fourth Form Room.

The plaque has beautifully incorporated

this rich legacy into its design,

featuring prominent names

from our family of Old Harrovians.

It serves as a timeless reminder and

inspiration for International Harrovians

to follow in the footsteps of their predecessors.

攀山滑雪、商业实践……

共同热爱和卓越追求

更成为全人教育的绝佳范例

10月庆典上，哈罗各校学子将跨校联动

带来精彩音乐盛宴和AISL哈罗校歌首次公演

享誉全球的维也纳童声合唱团、

著名小提琴演奏家姚珏女士

以及香港弦乐团、圣保罗男女中学管弦乐团

更将亲临大湾区

携手深圳前海哈罗港人子弟学校

和哈罗国际学校

呈献世界级音乐汇演

维也纳童声合唱团是世界上最著名、最古老的合唱团之一，培养出莫扎特、海顿、舒伯特等音乐奇才，亦与卡拉扬等著名指挥家共谱乐章。（相片来源：©Lukas Beck）

姚珏女士被誉为现今中国首屈一指的小提琴家，曾应邀在林肯中心、肯尼迪中心、柴可夫斯基音乐厅等演出。她致力将岭南文化融入弦乐，谱写大湾区时代之声，促进中西文化交流，具有重要影响力。

香港弦乐团、圣保罗男女中学管弦乐团亦将与AISL哈罗学子一同亮相舞台，展现大湾区新生代音乐人才的无限潜力与风采。

A Performance Gala by

International Harrovians,

A Showcase of Diverse Talent and Fruits of Holistic Education

At AISL Harrow Schools,

holistic education goes beyond classroom.

With a diverse range of co-curricular activities (CCA).

From A Cappella, musical instrument performance, performing arts, to green technology, creative arts,

hiking and skiing, and entrepreneurship,

each student can discover their passion

and unlock their full potential.

Specifically, our passion for music has become

a prime example of holistic education.

This time, students from AISL Harrow Schools

will present a fabulous musical feast and the debut performance of the AISL Harrow School Song.

The world-renowned Vienna Boys’ Choir,

violinist Ms Jue Yao,

Hong Kong String Orchestra, and St. Paul’s Co-educational College Symphony Orchestra

will also deliver a world-class musical gala

in the Greater Bay Area in collaboration

with the two schools in Shenzhen Qianhai.

The Vienna Boys’ Choir is one of the world’s most famous and oldest choirs. It is the cradle of such musical prodigies as Mozart, Haydn, and Schubert, having worked with legendary conductors like Karajan. (Photo credit: ©Lukas Beck))

Ms Jue Yao is widely recognised as one of the top violinists in China. She has performed in prestigious venues such as Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, and Tchaikovsky Concert Hall. She is passionate about blending Lingnan culture into string music, creating sounds that resonate uniquely with the Greater Bay Area and fostering cultural exchange between the East and West.

Hong Kong String Orchestra and St. Paul’s Co-educational College Symphony Orchestra will perform with AISL Harrow students on stage. Together, they will showcase the endless potential of young musical talents in the Greater Bay Area.
