The setting sun cast a golden glow
Over Wusongkou Pier on the Huangpu River,
While shimmering ripples danced upon
the water's surface,
Like an endless flowing river of stars.
On June 29, 2025,
The "Spectrum of the Seas,"
bearing the glory of Victoria's sixty-year journey,
Sounded its departure horn amidst cheers,
Laughter, breeze and ocean waves—
A heartfelt ode to this extraordinary milestone.

VICTORIA 60
2025
In this thrilling moment, an elegant and vibrant figure stood out—Ms. Ting Yuk-Chee, Founder of Victoria (China) Education Group. In 1965, starting from a small classroom by the banks of the Xiangjiang River (Hong Kong), she nurtured Victoria's seedling with sincerity and perseverance.
Sixty years of arduous pioneering, with an unwavering original aspiration. Today, Victoria's educational reach extends to five cities: Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Suzhou, and Hangzhou. Like a steady ship, Victoria has always carried the pure mission of "enlightening minds and broadening horizons," forging ahead through the tides of the times.
Shanghai is the hometown where her educational ideals first took root; Hong Kong is the fertile ground where those ideals were forged into reality. Today, Ms. Ting leads the Victoria family—215 student families, 900 parents and students, and nearly 100 staff—back to Shanghai to set sail. This is not just a birthday celebration voyage, but a journey across time, connecting the deep bonds between Shanghai and Hong Kong, and looking toward the future.

Supervisor Ting, Executive Director Dr. Victor Koong and Ms. Melanie Ng of Victoria (China) Education Group delivered speeches, jointly inaugurating this journey across time and space.
Next, a cake symbolizing Victoria's sixty years of glory was slowly wheeled onto the stage. Champagne bubbles rose with joy, and the ceremony stage quietly transformed—from a witness to glory into a joyful arena where children would showcase their innocence and talent. A splendid performance by Victoria's new generation was about to begin!
Children from Qibao Campus performed " We Love Shanghai," their clear voices and lively dances expressing affection for Shanghai, the mother city. Children from Gumei, Xuhui, and Xuhui A+ campuses transformed into "Kung Fu Kids" for "Kung Fu Funky Pop," their every move exuding the vitality of young China. Pudong Campus's "Dance of the Balloons," Shenzhen, Suzhou, and Hangzhou campuses' "Do As I'm Doing," and the joint performance of "We Are The Future" by Causeway Bay Campus and VSA—all brimmed with the vitality of multiculturalism and the harmonious unity of the Victoria family.
During the gift exchange, Victoria presented the captains with a painting co-created by students and a cruise ship teddy bear as small witnesses of the journey. In return, the captains gave a model of Spectrum of the Seas—a perfect conclusion to the ceremony and a heartfelt wish for the voyage.
As dusk fell, lights of the welcome dinner lit up the main restaurant. In front of the backdrop, parents took photos with their children, capturing this unforgettable moment—smiles frozen in time, preserving joy and warmth. Later, everyone gathered around tables, raised their glasses, and toasted sincere wishes to Victoria on its 60th birthday.
Spectrum Melodies
Learning Through Play,
Growing in Exploration and Joy
Every moment on Spectrum of the Seas was a novel and meaningful adventure for the children. Victoria's carefully designed activities skillfully blended "play" and "learning," allowing children to absorb growth nutrients amid pure joy.
On the afternoon of June 30, the Victoria Challenge for younger children buzzed with excitement: Rubik's cubes spun rapidly in small hands, their colors gradually aligning; complex knots were patiently untied under focused gazes; sudoku grids were cleverly filled with numbers; puzzle pieces finally formed complete pictures. Concentrated expressions, cheers of success, and peer encouragement painted the most beautiful scene of the arena.
On the afternoon of July 3, the student group's challenge was equally splendid. Older children faced more demanding tasks, demonstrating sharper thinking, flexible strategies, and calm composure. Fingers flew, and sparks of thought collided invisibly. Every successful solution was met with confident smiles and peer admiration.
What could excite children more than exploring the "brain" of the giant ship? On the morning of July 3, children crowded into the captain's bridge, their eyes shining with curiosity. The dignified yet kind captain patiently answered their imaginative questions, letting them discover the mysteries of navigation in a relaxed atmosphere.
Global Classrooms
Exploring Beyond Boundaries
As Spectrum of the Seas glided into foreign harbors, the Victoria family's exploration extended from the blue sea to vibrant shores.
On the morning of July 1, the cruise arrived in Busan, South Korea. At Yongdusan Park, they took in the grand view of Busan Port nestled with the city. At Lotte World, roller coasters carried children's screams and laughter through thrilling tracks. In the light-and-shadow ARTE Museum, immersive art experiences let imagination soar freely.

On July 2, the cruise reached Fukuoka, Japan—a city blending traditional and modern charm. At Kushida Shrine, they learned to pray with clasped hands, feeling the tranquility and reverence of Shinto culture. At Lalaport, one of Asia's largest malls, a giant Gundam statue stood tall. At Uminonakamichi Aquarium, adorable otters played in the water, and the dreamy jellyfish tunnel felt like an underwater wonderland.

Wonderful Days & Nights
From Dawn Rhythms
to Starry Splendor
At 5 a.m. on July 3, over the Pacific Ocean, the first golden rays pierced the horizon, casting faint light over the endless sea. Victoria's children and adults gathered early on the deck to watch the beautiful sunrise. Their eyes fixed eastward, where a gradually spreading blush cloudscape unfolded—indescribably beautiful.
As the last glow of dawn merged into the boundless blue, the sky grew clear and bright. Everyone moved to the sports field with full energy, where children and adults stretched together, starting a mindfulness yoga journey.
Children imitated adults' movements—clumsy yet full of focus and joy. Adults felt physical and mental harmony in the gentle stretches.
As night fell and lights lit up, rhythmic drumbeats filled Spectrum's Music Hall. Children, dressed in elaborate costumes, kicked off a colorful, creative fashion show.
They strode confidently down the runway, showcasing their charm. Shutter clicks echoed, capturing these wonderful moments.
