New Year Wishes from Dr. Koong
Dear teachers, children and parents of Victoria:
In the past December, all Victoria kindergartens, whether in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Suzhou and Hangzhou, are all facing the impact of the epidemic. With many members of our learning community getting infected, I have also been especially concerned about everyone's physical and mental health during this time and sincerely prayed that every member of our community and their loved ones would recover soon.
Festive celebrations at the end of each year is usually the happiest time for children in Victoria. It’s filled with surprises brought by Santa and sweet happy stories shared by teachers. Children also love all the fun and activities along with taking part in the beautiful Christmas decorations on campus. This year, although there are only a few children in each campus, the staff who persisted on being on duty still carefully planned learning activities and prepare delicious "Christmas buffet" for children.

They are the real "Santa Claus" behind the scene. No matter how difficult the situation is, we will always try to ensure that our children are not as missing special moments of their childhood.
In Hong Kong, we have faced similar challenges and we will gradually embrace the "post epidemic era". I firmly believe that in the near future, the world will eventually come out of the shadow of the epidemic and be revitalised.

We are sure that 2022 has been an emotionally testing and turbulent time, thanks to the pandemic, a lot of us are keeping our fingers crossed for 2023! There have been many learnings we got from the year-from safeguarding our health, being supportive of each other to spreading kindness and now, it's time to make some wishes anew and spread the holiday cheer.
