教育的美好,始于一次又一次温暖的相遇--家长的信任、孩子的笑脸、我们的初心,正共同编织着成长的故事。在这草木葱茏的时节,启思顿幼儿园迎来了为期三天的家长开放日活动。

孩子们牵着爸爸妈妈的手,在绘本的世界里遨游,在科学的世界里探索,在闯关游戏的欢乐中收获成长。

Building meaningful connections between the school and home is an essential part of providing the best-quality education here at KKEC. Your trust, children’s smiles, and our shared dedication weave our children’s growth story. Surrounded by the beauty of Spring, KKEC hosted a three-day Open Day!


During the Open Day, parents joined their children to explore the worlds of picture books, discover science through play, and embrace growth through joyful challenges. During every activity, learning flourished at every step.

EYFS主题活动围绕经典绘本展开,根据幼儿最近发展区精心设计活动,孩子们在游戏中学习,在探索中成长,家长们也近距离感受到了孩子们在幼儿园的快乐日常。

EYFS theme activities were centered around classic picture books and were carefully designed to meet children's developmental objectives. Children were able to learn through play and grow through exploration. Parents had a chance to experience firsthand their children's happy daily life in KKEC.

From “Listening to Stories” 

to “Performing Stories”

从"听故事"到"演故事" 

4月23日,世界阅读日。K1级的孩子们用英语和表演带我们重温了三个经典的绘本故事。在表演中,我们看到了孩子们自信的表达、可爱的装扮,还有他们对故事的理解与热爱。

On April 23 (World Book Day), K1 children  recreated three classic picture book stories through English performances, showcasing their confidence, creativity, and passion for storytelling.

短短5-10分钟的表演,浸润着老师们的悉心指导。从服装道具到舞台布景,每一个细节都让绘本故事“活”了起来,孩子们在表演中不仅锻炼了英语表达,更收获了满满的自信。

Every short 5-10 minute performance was infused with the teachers' careful guidance. From the costumes and props to the stage set, every detail made picture book stories “come alive”. The children not only practiced their English expression during the performances, but also gained a lot of self-confidence.

当故事"活"在指尖



老师们将绘本变成可以玩的游戏,孩子们通过亲身体验,真正“走进”了故事。 

家长们的角色从“旁观者”变为“合作者”,与孩子一起制作跷跷板、书签、天平、数鸭子、探索光影等等,笑声与惊叹声回荡在自然学校的每个角落。

Teachers transformed picture books into interactive games, immersing children in stories through hands-on play. Parents changed their roles from “onlookers” to “collaborators”, making seesaws, bookmarks, and scales; counting ducks, exploring light and shadow together with their children.

K1级以"世界阅读日"为契机,通过绘本剧和延伸游戏,让孩子们体验了立体化的阅读之旅——在这里,故事不仅能听能看,更能演、能玩、能创造。这场别开生面的阅读活动,用最生动的方式诠释了"世界读书日"的真谛:当书本遇见童真,每个孩子都是最棒的 Storyteller!

The K1 class used World Book Day to help kids explore books in a fun way! They acted out stories from picture books and played games inspired by those stories.

我们邀请爸爸妈妈们放下忙碌,走进孩子们的世界—与艺术、科学对话。在K2级的教室里,STREAM科学实验的惊喜、童话剧的童真演绎、亲子艺术的温暖共创,让教育的美好自然发生。

We invited parents to join the children in exploring the world of art and science. In the K2 classrooms, the surprises of STREAM science experiments, the children’s interpretation of fairy tales onstage, and the warm co-creation of parent-child art allowed the beauty of education to happen naturally.

我们相信,走进儿童,从“一起创造”出发;理解儿童,从“共同完成”开始。这一次,爸爸妈妈和孩子一起成为探索者、创作者,体验科学探究和艺术创作的乐趣。

We believe that connecting with children starts from “creating something together” and understanding children starts from “accomplishing something together”. During this Open Day, parents became co-explorers and co-creators, working together with their children and experiencing the fun of scientific exploration and artistic creation through hands-on play.

这一次开放日,我们希望传递的是:

学习可以很有——科学不是公式,而是生活中的"为什么"

成长需要陪伴——父母的参与,是孩子最大的安全感

艺术没有对错——每一笔涂鸦,都是内心的表达

What we hoped to convey at the Open Day:

· Learning can be fun - Science isn’t about formulas, but the “WHYs” in everyday life.

· Growing-up needs companionship - Parental involvement is a child's greatest sense of security.

· There is no right or wrong in art - Every doodle is a unique manifestation of the heart.

‌"Level-Up Challenge!" — Mastering the Four Preparations through Play

"闯关大挑战!"——在游戏中玩转四大准备

即将入小学,孩子们准备好了吗?一场别开生面的“闯关游戏”,孩子们通过19个游戏展示自己在“身心准备、生活准备、社会准备、学习准备”四大准备方面为上小学打下的坚实基础。孩子们在玩中学、学中玩,收获满满的成就感!家长成为一个“观察者”,有效地观察、记录、评价孩子们在游戏中的表现和能力发展。

Are the kids ready for primary school? During this adventure-style challenge, children demonstrated physical, emotional, social, and academic readiness whilst playing 19 games. Learning through play boosted children’s confidence. The format of the activity enabled the parents to observe and assess their child’s progress in a stress-free and playful manner.

三天的开放日落下帷幕,让我们回到最初的期待——这场相遇,我们看见教育的初心:看见孩子们如何从"好饿的毛毛虫"蜕变成自信的小演员,从数鸡蛋的萌娃成长为能独立整理书包的准小学生。

As the 3-day Open Day draws to its end, we reaffirm our original purpose: to witness the children’s transformation from “hungry caterpillars” to confident actors, and from egg-counting babies to prospective primary school students capable of independently arranging their schoolbags.

家长专注观察的眼神,温柔记录的笔触,正是对我们教育目标最好的回应:

正如开放日伊始我们期待的——家长不是旁观者,而是教育的同行者。

The parents' look of focused observation and the gentle sound of pan on paper as they record their experiences are the best response to our educational goals:

· Recognizing the developmental objectives underlying playful activities.

· Decoding the learning competencies embedded in storybooks dramas.

· Understanding the progressive growth steps scaffolded in challenge-based games.

Parents are not bystanders, but co-creators in their children's learning journey.
