Adorned with fresh greenery and beautiful blossoms of Spring, KKEC held its Spring Semester’s Parent-Teacher Conferences entitled “Spring Dialogue: Little Secrets of Growth”. During the warm parent-teacher meetings, we used games as our language and nature as our classroom environment to explore "little secrets" of children's growth. Empowered with knowledge and supported by the strong bond between parents and teachers, we help our children grow, the same way Spring prompts seeds to break through the soil and grow tall.

To help parents better understand their child’s development progress within the kindergarten, the teachers have compiled comprehensive list of everyday observations and offered suggestions for creating an effective learning environment at home.

深入了解课程理念,走进宝贝的成长课堂。各个班级老师为家长们讲解了本学期的课程框架重点。EYFS体系的核心原则“每一个孩子都是独一无二的”(更进一步的解读了启思顿的愿景“让每一个孩子安心做最好的自己”)、幼儿学习和发展的七大领域、三个有效学习特征、“玩中学”教育理念、到项目课程(探究式学习)和国际课程(主题式探究,STREAM教育,自然拼读)向家长们解读了启思顿课程体系的独特之处。
Parents gain an in-depth understanding of the curriculum philosophy as the class teachers explain the key points of this semester’s curriculum framework. EYFS is one of such points. The EYFS system's core principle, "Every child is unique" (further interpreting KKEC's vision, "Bringing out the Best in Every Child"), underscores the seven areas of children's learning and development.
In addition, the teachers talk about KKEC’s unique effective- learning characteristics: the "learning through play" educational philosophy, project-based learning (inquiry-based learning), and implementation of international curricula (thematic inquiry, STREAM education, and phonics). Learning more about these elements help parents understand the unique aspects of the KKEC's curriculum system.

We also help parents track their children’s growth, social and emotional development through daily record videos and portfolios.

From thematic inquiries to Sino-Western cultural festivals and talent shows, children explore interdisciplinary boundaries via STREAM-based education and become active thinkers and creators via project-based learning.

At KKEC, the collaboration between home and school is like life itself: full of sunshine (trust and companionship), rain (professional guidance), and playful breeze (personal expression) that enable every "seed" to take root and grow according to its natural rhythm, without rush, shaping into a unique and beautiful full bloom at its own pace in its own time.
