蛇舞新春·庙趣横生 2025 KKEC Opening Ceremony

      春华秋实，夏雨冬雪，四季轮回，文化传承。2025年新学期伊始，启思顿幼儿园以庙会形式，“蛇舞新春·庙趣横生”为主题，展开一场具有中华民族传统文化魅力的开学典礼。

Spring blossoms and autumn harvests, summer rains and winter snows— every season brings its unique gifts and opportunities to explore and experience cultural heritage. To celebrate the arrival of the year of the Snake, to welcome the new school year, and to showcase the charm of traditional Chinese culture, we held a temple fair here at KKEC, themed “Snake Dances in the New Spring, Fun Abounds in the Temple Fair.”

      孩子们身穿喜庆的红色服饰，早早地来园。在气派的舞狮表演下，摸一摸苹果、葱、火龙果、橘子，以示平安喜乐、聪明伶俐、红红火火、大吉大利。

The children, dressed in festive red clothing, arrived at the kindergarten early. While watching the grand lion dance performance, they touched apples, spring onions, dragon fruits, and oranges to invite peace, happiness, intelligence, prosperity, and good fortune into their lives this year.

      在充满美好寓意的祝福中，孩子、老师们聚集在操场中，以传统文化舞狮表演，开启了充满韵味十足的庙会。

Showered with beautiful new-year blessings, the children and teachers gathered at the playground to kick start the temple fair with a traditional lion dance full of charm and flavor.

      舞狮迎新与舞龙表演，为孩子们带来传统文化盛宴。锣鼓声中，两只狮子摇头摆尾、腾挪跳跃，灵动威风。孩子们瞪大眼睛，好奇地跟着狮子，被古老技艺吸引。舞狮师傅动作精湛，充满生命力，仿佛诉说着古老智慧。舞龙队伍步伐矫健，龙身起伏盘旋，宛如神龙翱翔。孩子们被震撼，兴奋地追逐龙的身影，感受非遗文化的魅力。

The lion dance and dragon dance performances brought a feast of traditional culture for the children. Amidst the sound of gongs and drums, two lions shook their heads, wagged their tails, and leaped about, looking lively and majestic. The children, with their eyes wide open, followed the lions curiously, captivated by the ancient art. The lion dance masters, with their exquisite skills full of vitality, seemed to be narrating ancient wisdom. The dragon dance team moved with vigorous steps, and the dragon's body undulated and coiled, as if a divine dragon were soaring through the air. The children were so impressed that they excitedly chased after the dragon, experiencing the charm of intangible cultural heritage.

     在庙会中我们围绕着：春·夏·秋·冬，展开一系列中国传统文化元素的摊位游戏，让孩子们在游戏中了解中国的民间艺术和非物质文化遗产。

During the Temple Fair, we explored all four seasons - spring, summer, autumn and winter - with a series of games and activities filled with Chinese traditional cultural elements, allowing children to learn about Chinese folk arts and intangible cultural heritage through play.

     制作桃花，让孩子们通过制作桃花感受传统文化的魅力，了解桃花在中国文化中代表春天和美好的情感。增强了对自然和生活的热爱之情。

Creating Peach Blossoms.

This activity enhances children’s love for nature and life. Moreover, while making peach blossoms, children not only experience the charm of traditional culture but also understand the symbolism behind it. Peach blossoms in Chinese culture symbolize spring and beautiful emotions.

       桃花妆、鲜花美甲的摊位更是受女孩子们的欢迎，粉粉嫩嫩的桃花妆让孩子们变身成为可爱的“小桃气”，粉色的柔和色彩在孩子们的脸蛋、小手上更添喜气。

The booths for Peach Blossom Makeup and Fresh Flower Nail Art are especially popular among the girls. The delicate pink peach blossom makeup transforms children into adorable “little peach spirits,” adding an extra touch of joy to their little cheeks and hands.

     装点油纸伞，让孩子们感受中国传统雨具，它细长的竹条、薄透的纸张、色彩斑斓的颜料都代表着悠久的历史和独特的艺术价值。

Decorating oilpaper umbrellas allowed children to explore a traditional Chinese rain implement. Its slender bamboo ribs, translucent paper, and colorful pigments represent a long history and unique artistic value.

     大家耐心地把香料装紧布袋中。用嗅觉感受着香料散发出的奇妙香气，在内心中种下对传统文化热爱的种子。

Full of curiosity and anticipation, children were patiently stuffing the spices into the cloth bags making fragrant sachets. Wonderful fragrances emitted by the spices excite children’s sense of smell and create a lovely memory of a beautiful tradition in their hearts.

     品尝莲子银耳糖水、品茶、水果套圈同样受到了孩子们的热爱，温热的甜品喝进肚子里，温暖的感觉给孩子们带来了温暖和舒适的安全感。

Tasting lotus seed and white fungus sweet soup, tea, and fruit won during the ring-toss game have also been met with great enthusiasm.

      一起围炉煮茶，品尝着中山非遗美食：豆捞，欣赏着幼儿园独特的“雪景”。

The children are gathering in small groups around the stove to brew tea and savor the intangible cultural heritage cuisine from Zhongshan: Dou Lao.

      除了体验春·夏·秋·冬，各有千秋的摊位游戏之外，孩子们还体验了古老而神奇的技艺：拓印；墨色能在宣纸上晕染开来的水墨画；科技与艺术结合的3D笔创作等等。

The children also got a chance to experience various interesting skills: woodblock printing; ink wash painting on Xuan paper; and 3D pen crafting that combines technology and art.

      在热闹非凡的氛围中，举办了一场含有中国传统文化魅力的庙会。给孩子们在欢乐的氛围中了解了中国传统民俗文化、非遗进校园的体验活动，让孩子们在传统文化的滋养下展开新学期、新旅程。

Amidst an exceptionally lively atmosphere, we held a temple fair that exuded the charm of traditional Chinese culture. The children were able to learn about traditional Chinese folk customs and experience the fusion of intangible cultural heritage and modern life. The KKEC Temple Fare opened doors to a new semester, filled with new knowledge and experiences. Let’s open our hearts and minds to learning more about Chinese cultural heritage and the ways it weaves into our modern lives.
