2024年5月8日，经过数月的角逐，青岛白沙河“一河两岸”国际综合发展区城市设计国际咨询结果公布。MLA+联合体从5家入围单位中突出重围，摘得一等奖的好成绩！
On May 8, 2024, after several months of intense competition, the results of the international urban design consultation for the Qingdao Baisha River "One River, Two Banks" International Comprehensive Development Zone were announced. The MLA+ team stood out among the five shortlisted entities, securing the prestigious first prize!

为更好推进白沙河城市副中心的建设，充分发挥城阳区母亲河——白沙河的山水生态优势、区位交通优势和土地价值优势等，按照“区域统筹、连片开发”思路，从白沙河的全流域价值出发，以期在白沙河“一河两岸”片区全面谋划建设一座新时代的新城区，连山、通海、贯城，为城阳区乃至大青岛地区创造新的承载空间、新的城市创新功能、新的活力吸引点，打造主城区新的崛起板块，将白沙河两岸打造成为青岛迈向全球知名海湾都会的活力水岸、卓越水岸。
To better advance the construction of the Baisha River Sub-Central Business District and fully leverage the ecological, geographical, and land value advantages of the Baisha River—the "mother river" of the Chengyang District—aligning with the approach of "regional integration and contiguous development," we start from the overall value of the Baisha River basin. The aim is to comprehensively plan and construct a new urban area for the new era in the "One River, Two Banks" area of Baisha River, connecting mountains, the sea, and the city. This will create new bearing spaces, new urban innovation functions, and new vitality attraction points for the Chengyang District and even the greater Qingdao area. It will foster a new rising sector in the main urban area and transform the banks of the Baisha River into a vibrant and outstanding waterfront as Qingdao strides towards becoming a globally renowned bay area metropolis.

2024年4月11-12日，历史与新篇：深圳南山五校建筑方案设计竞赛资格预审会于深圳市南山区顺利举行。资格预审委员会由吕达文、荣朝晖、王小工、张应鹏、钟兵、朱荣远、祝晓峰（按姓名音序排列）7位专业评委组成。MLA+通过严格遴选，从65家候选单位中脱颖而出，入围荔山小学工程项目前五。
On April 11-12, 2024, "History and New Chapter: Shenzhen Nanshan Five Schools Architectural Design Competition" preliminary qualification review was successfully held in the Nanshan District of Shenzhen. The preliminary qualification review committee comprised seven professional judges: Lv Dawen, Rong Zhaohui, Wang Xiaogong, Zhang Yingpeng, Zhong Bing, Zhu Rongyuan, and Zhu Xiaofeng (arranged in alphabetical order by surname). MLA+ stood out through a rigorous selection process among 65 candidate firms and was shortlisted in the top five for the Lishan Primary School project.

2024年4月19日，在南山区建筑工务署及有方团队的组织下，各入围团队顺利进行了项目答疑会，并在当天现场踏勘，详细考察了项目地形、周边环境等基础信息。
On April 19, 2024, under the coordination of the Nanshan District Construction Works Department and the POSITION team, the shortlisted teams successfully conducted a project clarification meeting and carried out a site survey on the same day, meticulously examining the project's topography, surrounding environment, and other fundamental information.

2024年4月20日，江西上饶广丰区文化艺术中心项目规划建筑方案竞赛资格预审会顺利结束。MLA+联合体从32家参赛单位中成功入围前五。
On April 20, 2024, the qualification pre-screening for the Jiangxi Shangrao Guangfeng District Cultural and Arts Center project's planning and architectural design competition concluded successfully. The MLA+ Consortium was successfully shortlisted among the top five out of 32 participating units.

2024年4月18日，江西上饶 — 在上饶市广丰区政府的精心组织下，文化艺术中心项目规划建筑方案竞赛的关键环节——现场踏勘及答疑会顺利完成。参与团队详细考察了项目地的地形、周边环境及基础设施等，为后续的设计工作提供了宝贵的实地信息。
On April 18, 2024, Shangrao, Jiangxi – Under the careful organization of the Guangfeng District Government of Shangrao City, a key step in the planning and architectural design competition for the Cultural and Arts Center project was successfully completed: the site visit and question-and-answer session. The participating teams conducted a detailed inspection of the site's topography, surrounding environment, and infrastructure, providing valuable on-site information for subsequent design work.
踏勘活动后，答疑会在广丰区政府会议室举行。设计团队针对设计规范、环境影响及其他关键问题进行了深入的讨论。
Following the site visit, a question-and-answer session was held in the meeting room of the Guangfeng District Government. The design teams engaged in in-depth discussions regarding design specifications, environmental impact, and other key issues.

In January 2024, the Guangdong Provincial Territory Spatial Planning Association announced the outstanding urban planning and design projects in Guangdong Province for the year 2023, with the MLA+ Consortium winning the second prize.

Our vision, " LIVABLE BLUE BAY, TRIPHIBIAN OCEAN CITY", is to explore a new relationship between the city and the sea. In the past 40 years of development, the central area of Bao'an, as an urban center that grew wildly outside the focus, was built based on land reclamation and constant demands from nature. Seizing the historic opportunity of Qianhai expansion, the new spatial relationship of citysea interaction is established with the help of cultural and ecological values. Taking the sea as the starting point, the city is revitalized by the sea and the shore, and the reclaimed land is fed by the ecological space of water and land and the shoreline, and a more diversified and dynamic mixed function is woven into the heart of the bay.

On March 31, 2024, the "People's Daily" featured a special report on the "Song of the Earth: 2024 Beautiful China Chronicles" exhibition. The MLA+ Consortium project, Dingzha Water Town SOHO Smart Granary, aims to revitalize rural areas through a dual strategy of industry implantation and spatial renewal. It seeks to achieve sustainable rural development and make the countryside a place of aspiration, thereby jointly creating a beautiful landscape of rural and urban areas in Beautiful China.

2024年4月15日，Markus Appenzeller带领远道而来的俄罗斯访团 VSEVPARK CLUB 深度参观MLA+在深圳的两项落地项目：留仙洞泊寓和香蜜公园。Markus详细地从设计理念、场地施工过程、项目复盘心得等角度全程引路加讲解。与俄罗斯团队进行了愉快友好的交流。
On April 15, 2024, Markus Appenzeller led the Russian landscape team VSEVPARK CLUB, who had traveled a long way, on an in-depth tour of two MLA+ projects implemented in Shenzhen: Liuxiandong Boyu and Xiangmi Park. Markus provided a comprehensive guide and explanations from various perspectives, including the design concept, site construction process, and project review insights. He engaged in a pleasant and friendly exchange with the Russian team.

2024年5月6日下午，深设协城市设计分会成立大会暨城市设计学术交流会在中国城市规划设计研究院深圳分院隆重举办。MLA+中国区规划总监黄可心作为理事单位代表参加。会上各位领导及行业专家分享了各自的宝贵意见。积极倡导创新、协作、共赢的理念，推动行业内的交流和合作，推动深圳城市设计实践的不断进步和提升。
On the afternoon of May 6, 2024, the inaugural meeting of the Urban Design Branch of the Shenzhen Urban Planning and Design Association and the Urban Design Academic Exchange Conference were grandly held at the Shenzhen Branch of the China Urban Planning and Design Research Institute. Huang Kexin, the Planning Director for MLA+ in China, attended as a representative of the council member units. At the meeting, leaders and industry experts shared their valuable insights, actively advocating for the concepts of innovation, collaboration, and mutual benefit. They aimed to promote communication and cooperation within the industry and drive the continuous progress and enhancement of urban design practice in Shenzhen.
