8月31日下午，沉寂了一整个夏天的上海中学国际部浦西校区再一次热闹了起来。一群小小的身影，握紧爸爸妈妈的手，略带紧张却满怀期待地迈入了校园——我们的一年级新生，就在这个明亮的下午，正式开启了小学之旅。
On the afternoon of August 31, SHSID Puxi Campus, quiet throughout the summer, once again buzzed with excitement. Small figures clutched their parents' hands, stepping into the campus with a mix of nervousness and great anticipation— our first grade students officially began their elementary school journey on this bright afternoon.

一年级的老师们早早等候在班级迎接，轻柔的问候化解了每一个孩子初来时的拘谨。
The first grade teachers waited early in their classrooms to welcome the children, soft greetings quickly eased their initial shyness.

孩子们在老师的指引下，找到了专属于自己的书包柜和座位。他们认真地将日常物品放入，初步体验了小学生的“有条理”。一些小朋友主动教后来的同学放书包、找座位，就这样不一会儿，有些孩子已经交到了手拉手的好朋友。教室一角，家长和孩子一起合影，用镜头定格这个值得纪念的“小学第一日”。
With the teachers' help, the children found their own backpacks, cubbies, and seats. They carefully put away their belongings, getting a first taste of what it means to be an organized elementary student. Some students took the initiative to help their classmates find their seats and store their backpacks. In no time, many had already made new friends, even holding hands as they got to know each other. In one corner of the classroom, parents and children took photos together, capturing the memorable first day of elementary school.

随着爸爸妈妈陆续离开，孩子们在老师的带领下，开启了对校园的初次探索。他们在走廊尽头找到了饮水机，在教室外找到了卫生间，在教室一角发现了图书角……回到教室，两位老师还介绍了小学每天的日程安排和丰富多彩的校园活动，孩子们睁大眼睛仔细看、认真记，眼中闪烁着对即将开始的小学生活的憧憬与向往。
As parents gradually left, the teachers led the children on their first exploration of the campus. They found the water dispenser at the end of the hallway, the restrooms outside the classrooms, and the reading nook in one corner. Back in the classroom, the teachers introduced the daily schedule and the wide range of school activities. The children listened with wide eyes, taking everything in carefully, their faces filled with excitement and anticipation for the elementary school life that lay ahead.

紧接着的一周，一年级的生活丰富多彩地展开了。
The following week was packed with colorful experiences for the first graders.
语文课上，孩子们领略了汉字之美；数学课上，他们用数字完成了一张“All about me”的海报来表达自我；英语课上，他们听故事、学常规；还有体育课上的游戏，音乐课上的律动，美术课上的创意……每节课都是轻轻迈出的一小步，孩子们走出羞怯，自信快乐地融入进了生机勃勃的新环境。
In Chinese class, they discovered the beauty of Chinese characters; in math, they expressed themselves by creating an "All About Me" poster using numbers; in English, they listened to stories and learned classroom routines. There were also games in PE, rhythm exercises in music, and creative projects in art... Each lesson was a small step forward, helping the children step out of their shyness and confidently integrate into the vibrant new environment.

午餐时间，小朋友们排队跟着老师到学校餐厅用餐。大家认真洗手，和同伴们有序落座，大口吃饭；饭后，他们记得擦干净小嘴，清理桌面，再分类归拢餐具。有的孩子尚不认识大家，却已经开始忙前忙后为同学服务——帮忙发餐、摆放筷子、整理餐具，一个个做得有模有样。
At lunchtime, the children lined up and followed their teachers to the school cafeteria. They washed their hands carefully, sat down orderly with their peers, and enjoyed their meals. After eating, they remembered to wipe their mouths, clean their tables, and sort their utensils. Some children, still unfamiliar with their classmates, were already busy helping out— serving meals, arranging chopsticks, and organizing tableware, each doing their tasks with great diligence.
午间休息时，孩子们在老师的带领下玩游戏、交朋友。晴天，他们一起玩老鹰捉小鸡，一起拍球、丢沙包、踢键子、唱歌；雨天，他们在室内搭积木、下跳棋、玩桌游。欢笑声回荡，友谊渐渐滋长。
During the noon break, the teachers led games and activities to help the children make friends. On sunny days, they played games like Eagle and Chicks, bounced balls, tossed sandbags, kicked shuttlecocks, and sang songs. On rainy days, they built with blocks, played checkers, and enjoyed board games indoors. Laughter filled the air as friendships gradually blossomed.

这一周里，许多孩子交到了小学阶段的第一个好朋友，第一次举手回答问题，第一次独立整理书包，也第一次坐上了校车……这些看似微小却意义非凡的“第一次”，正在悄然推动他们走向更自信、更独立的自己。
Over the week, many children made their first friends in elementary school, raised their hands to answer questions for the first time, packed their schoolbags on their own for the first time, and took the school bus for the first time... These seemingly small but meaningful "firsts" quietly helped them become more confident and independent.

对刚刚踏入校园的小豆丁们来说，适应新规则、养成好习惯，是他们成长中的重要一步。从认真聆听老师的指令，到整齐地站队行走；从自己收拾文具、摆放桌椅，到提醒彼此课间喝水、上厕所……这些看似简单的小事，却是他们一天天变得更加独立的见证。在老师们一遍遍温柔地提醒和一次次耐心地示范下，孩子们渐渐明白了什么是“小学生的样子”。他们逐渐知道如何在晨间安顿好自己、独立抄下当日作业；也学会安静倾听，回应指令，配合老师在课堂中的要求。他们开始享受表达和分享的快乐，也爱上了课间翻阅绘本的宁静时光。
For these little ones who had just stepped into campus life, adapting to new rules and developing good habits were important steps in their growth. From listening carefully to the teachers' instructions to lining up neatly; from tidying their own supplies and arranging desks and chairs to reminding each other to drink water and use the restroom during breaks— these seemingly simple tasks were the proof of their growing independence. With the teachers' gentle reminders and patient demonstrations, the children gradually learned what it means to be an elementary student. They settled into morning routines, copied down their assignments independently, and learned to listen quietly, follow instructions, and cooperate with their teachers in class. They began to enjoy expressing and sharing, and many grew to love the quiet moments spent flipping through picture books during breaks.

更让人欣慰的是，孩子们逐渐融入了这个新集体。班级里逐渐生长起温暖、互助的氛围，孩子们的脸上多了笑容，眼中有了光芒。
What was even more heartening was how the children gradually blended into their new community. A warm and supportive atmosphere grew within the classroom, bringing more smiles to the children's faces and a sparkle to their eyes.
每一天，每一个细微的进步，都被老师悄悄记在心里。对一年级的小不点儿来说，这些细小的变化，影射着孩子们在新环境中建立起来的安全感和自信心。
Each day, every small step of progress was quietly noted by the teachers. For these little first graders, these subtle changes reflected the sense of security and confidence they were building in their new environment.
