上海市上海中学创始于1865年的龙门书院。160年来，学校始终与国家、民族的发展同呼吸、共命运，为中国近现代教育发展的一个经典缩影。承"储人才、备国家之用"宗旨，铸就了"自强不息、思变创新、乐育菁英"的龙门魂。
上海中学建校160周年办学成果展，分一楼、二楼两个展区。一楼展区展现学校在传承中发展，在发展中创新，分历史、今日辉煌、杰出校友与题词等三大篇章呈现。二楼展区展现校门与校舍变革、历次校庆、国际部发展、校友资料等图片与实物。

The 160th Anniversary of Shanghai High School

Shanghai High School, tracing its roots back to the establishment of the Dragon Gate Academy (Longmen Academy) in 1865, has built a remarkable 160-year legacy deeply intertwined with the nation’s history and its people. It serves as a microcosm of modern Chinese education, consistently upholding its core mission to develop talents aligned with the country’s evolving needs. Throughout its history, the school has cultivated a unique Longmen Spirit characterized by self-improvement, innovation, and the pursuit of excellence in educating outstanding students.
An exhibition showcasing the school’s achievements over the past 160 years is now open to the public, spread across two floors. The first floor features the school’s vibrant blend of tradition and innovation through three thematic sections: historical evolution, current accomplishments, and profiles of distinguished alumni, along with their inscriptions. On the second floor, visitors can explore a rich collection of photographs and artifacts that document the transformation of the school’s gate and campus architecture, past milestone celebrations, the development of its International Division, and valuable materials related to generations of alumni.
