9月1日下午，上海中学国际部浦西校区四五年级的师生齐聚西楼礼堂，隆重举行了2025学年第一学期开学典礼。现场同学们精神饱满，洋溢着新学期的朝气与活力。

On the afternoon of September 1, G4-5 teachers and students of SHSID Puxi Campus gathered in the Hsi Building Auditorium to ceremoniously hold the opening ceremony for the first semester of the 2025 academic year. The students were full of energy, radiating the vitality and dynamism.

典礼伊始，一段大事记视频回顾了上学期各类活动的精彩瞬间。STEAM科技艺术周、中国文化周、善意挑战周、义卖会、地理嘉年华等多元主题活动，不仅唤起了同学们美好的集体记忆，也激发了大家对新学期的向往与期待。

At the beginning of the ceremony, a video montage of major events reviewed the highlights of various activities from the previous semester. Diverse themed events such as STEAM Week, Chinese Culture Week, Kindness Week, the Charity Fair, and the Geo Fair not only evoked cherished collective memories but also ignited students' anticipation and excitement for the new semester.

接着，学生代表依次上台发言。来自4-3的Elianna分享了她在学习生活中怀揣好奇心、坚持独立思考的体会，鼓励大家勇敢发问、主动求知。来自4-9的Dorothy分享了在临港校区体验的特色皮划艇课程以及足球友谊赛等精彩有趣的活动，也表达了加入新集体的喜悦和对未来学习生活的憧憬。5-8的Michelle则讲述了如何适应新环境并有效制定学习计划，她特别感谢学校提供的丰富课程和活动机会，帮助她提升了团队协作等综合能力。

Next, student representatives took the stage to speak. Elianna from 4-3 shared her experience of maintaining curiosity and independent thinking, encouraging everyone to ask questions bravely and proactively. Dorothy from 4-9 talked about exciting activities such as the specialized kayaking course at the Lin'gang Campus and friendly soccer matches, while also expressing her joy at joining the new community and her aspirations for future studies. Michelle from 5-8 discussed how she adapted to the new environment and effectively developed study plans. She particularly thanked the school for offering a wide range of courses and activities, which helped her enhance comprehensive skills such as teamwork.

随后，国际部浦西校区四至五年级学段主任陆路婷老师在新学期对同学们的学习生活提出了更高的要求。陆路婷老师以《浪浪山小妖怪》的冒险故事激励同学们积极面对新学年的挑战，希望同学们在新学期、新环境中能够拥抱变化、保持好奇、勇敢尝试，期待共同创造充满勇气、发现和成就的学年。

Ms. Lu, Director of SHSID Puxi Campus Grade 4-5, set higher expectations for the students in the new semester. Drawing inspiration from the adventure story of movie "Nobody," she encouraged students to face challenges proactively of the new school year. Ms. Lu expressed her hope that everyone would embrace change, stay curious, and dare to try new things in this new semester and environment. She looked forward to collectively creating a year filled with courage, discovery, and achievement.

国际部初小段校长刘炼老师寄语新学期，鼓励同学们在开启一段新的学习与生活之旅前，先树立一个目标。这个目标或许是掌握一项新技能、养成一个好习惯，或是在某一个学科上取得进步。相信同学们日复一日付出的努力都会为未来的成功积蓄力量，只有通过坚持不懈地探索，才能最终实现自己的目标。

Mr. Liu Lian, Principal of SHSID Middle and Primary School, shared a message for the new semester, encouraging students to set a goal as they embark on a new journey of learning and life. This goal could be mastering a new skill, developing a good habit, or making progress in a certain subject. It is believed that the efforts students make day after day will accumulate strength for future success. Only through persistent exploration can they ultimately achieve their goals.

接下来播放的暑期视频《我的“非一般”假期》将典礼推向一个小高潮。同学们在暑假期间不仅参观了罗马斗兽场、以弗所古城等世界文化地标，还积极参与跳伞、山地越野自行车等挑战性运动，更有同学通过参加独立营锻炼了自理与合作能力。这段丰富多彩的假期生活，不仅拓宽了同学们的视野，更培养了他们的勇气和独立性。

The subsequent summer video titled "My 'Extraordinary' Holiday" brought the ceremony to a minor climax. During the summer break, students not only visited world cultural landmarks such as the Colosseum and the Ephesus but also actively participated in challenging activities like skydiving and cross-country mountain biking. Additionally, some students enhanced their self-management and teamwork skills by attending independence camps. This diverse range of holiday experiences not only broadened their horizons but also fostered their courage and independence.

此外，今年暑假，浦西校区四五学段11组家庭再赴湘西开展慈善之旅。五年级多位学生代表在分享中表示，当地的孩子们不畏艰苦、乐观向上的精神令人动容。通过在当地开展各类活动以及实地走访，他们感悟到，无论身处何种环境，只要保持积极心态与坚韧品格，定能创造属于自己的广阔天地。新学期将至，他们也鼓励同学们要砥砺前行，以不服输的劲头迎接新的成长挑战。

Moreover, this summer, eleven families from the fourth and fifth grades at the Puxi Campus once again embarked on a charitable trip to Xiangxi. During their sharing, several fifth-grade student representatives expressed how deeply they were moved by the local children's resilience and optimism. Through various activities and on-site visits, they came to realize that no matter the circumstances, maintaining a positive attitude and a resilient character can help one create their own bright future. As the new semester approaches, they also encouraged their peers to persevere and embrace new growth challenges with unwavering determination.

紧接着典礼进入备受期待的颁奖环节，四年级组长施展老师、副组长张炜老师、外教副组长Ms. Mansell和五年级组长卓越老师依次宣读了显著进步奖、模范态度奖等多个奖项的名单。国际部初小段副校长刘芳老师为荣获四年级学期荣誉之星和五年级积极参与奖的优秀学生颁奖。国际部初小段校长刘炼老师公布了五年级卓越表现奖与优秀学业奖的获奖名单。

The ceremony then moved into the highly anticipated awards segment. Ms. Shi, Supervisor of Grade 4, Ms. Zhang, Vice Supervisor of Grade 4, Ms. Mansell, Foreign Vice Supervisor of Grade 4 and Ms. Zhuo, Supervisor of Grade 5, successively announced the winners of multiple awards, Ms. Liu Fang, Vice Principal of SHSID Middle and Primary School including the Significant Progress Award and the Model Attitude Award. Ms. Liu Fang presented awards to outstanding students who received the Fourth Grade Semester Honor Star and the Fifth Grade Active Participation Award. Mr. Liu Lian, Principal of SHSID Middle and Primary School, announced the recipients of the Fifth Grade Excellence Award and Outstanding Academic Achievement Award.

开学典礼在热烈的掌声中缓缓落下帷幕，但新学期的精彩故事才刚刚开始。愿同学们在接下来的日子里，以最饱满的热情迎接未来的学习生活，书写新的精彩篇章。

The opening ceremony drew to a close amidst warm applause, yet the wonderful stories of the new semester had only just begun. May all students embrace the upcoming academic life with the utmost enthusiasm and write brilliant new chapters in the days ahead.

秋风送爽，晨光正好。2025年9月1日上午，上海中学国际部初中段全体师生齐聚大礼堂，共同拉开了新学年的序幕。

On the morning of September 1, 2025, all the teachers and students of SHSID Puxi Campus G6-8 gathered to celebrate the beginning of the new academic year. 

在7年级组长吴文意老师简洁有力的开场主持后，来自6-8的Sophia以一支充满魔力的“新笔”为喻，分享了她对中学生活的期待。她说，要用手中握着的新笔去完成一件件有意义的小事，如耐心地解出一道数学题、鼓起勇气完成英语演讲等。动人的演讲引发了全场同学的强烈共鸣。

Following a concise and powerful opening speech by Ms. Wu Wenyi, Supervisor of Grade 7, Sophia from 6-8 shared her aspirations for middle school life through the metaphor of a "new pen." She pledged to use this new pen to accomplish meaningful tasks: solving a challenging math problem, summoning the courage to deliver an English presentation, and more. Her touching words resonated deeply with the entire audience.

来自7-9的Emily则回顾了她从初入校园时的困惑紧张，到在师友的帮助下适应了新环境的成长历程。她的故事生动表明，真正的成长源于自我反思、积极适应和主动协作。

Emily from 7-9 reflected on her journey from feeling confused and nervous upon entering the school to gradually adapting to the new environment through the help of teachers and peers. Her story vividly illustrated that true growth stems from self-reflection, positive adaptation, and proactive collaboration.

最后，来自8-4的Juno分享了自己是如何从“表演式学习”的误区中挣脱。通过转变思维方式，逐渐摆脱了无意义的焦虑情绪，做出服务于自我成长的“有意识选择”。Juno真诚而富有洞察力的分享打动了每一位观众。

The final speaker, Juno from 8-4, moved everyone with  sincere and insightful sharing. She recounted how she broke free from the trap of "performative learning" by shifted  mindset. This change enabled her to rid herself of meaningless anxiety and make "conscious choices" that served personal growth.

随后，国际部初小段副校长兼G6-8学段主任沈天圆老师分享了在AI时代中，关于理性认知与清醒态度的思考。他展示了国际部的品德品格（CME）课程体系的建设（涵盖14个主题、24个单元），以及八年级服务性学习项目（学生累计投入时间超5000小时）塑造学生的责任感与公共精神，并以去年8年级学生参与的各类项目以及邀请段里刘铭老师分享去云南支教的实例，阐述了从“学习-服务-反思”到“我会-我们-我是”的价值自觉的体现。国际部初小段校长刘炼老师从两个方面向同学们提出了殷切期望，一是志存高远：认真思考你想成为什么样的人，这会给予你方向；二是脚踏实地，重复好的习惯直到它成为你的一部分，这会让你梦想成真。这些饱含智慧的话语，为同学们点亮了航标，注入了持续奋进的力量。

Following these inspirational speeches, Mr. Shen Tianyuan, Vice Principal and Director of Grade 6-8 of SHSID Middle and Primary School, shared profound reflections on cultivating "conscious modern individuals" in the age of AI. He outlined how the three-year CME curriculum (covering 14 themes and 24 units) and the eighth-grade service learning program (with over 5,000 hours of students' participation) cultivate a sense of responsibility and public spirit among students. He illustrated the embodiment of value-consciousness from "learning, service, reflection" to "I can, We are, I am" through various projects that eighth-grade students participated in last year, as well as through the example of Ms. Liu Ming's service in Yunnan. Then, Mr. Liu Lian, Principal of SHSID Middle and Primary School, fully affirmed the outstanding achievements of all teachers and students over the past academic year. He expressed earnest expectations for the new semester in two aspects: First, dream bigger— seriously consider what kind of person you aspire to become, as this will provide you with direction. Second, take steady steps— r epeat good habits until they become part of you, and this will make your dreams come true. These words, rich with wisdom, have lit the way for students  embarking on their new journey and infused them with the strength to keep striving forward.

隆重的颁奖环节将典礼的气氛再次点燃。刘炼校长对上学期表现突出的学段星级班，原六、七年级共7个班级颁发了奖状。紧接着 “显著进步奖”、“积极参与奖”、“优秀学业奖”依次揭晓，三位学段外教组长：Mr. Klimmek, Mr. Wendell, Mr. Laverrier，以及三位年级组长：6年级组长程黎燕老师，7年级组长吴文意老师和8年级组长沈莹老师为他们颁奖。最后，刘炼校长、沈天圆副校长与英文课程助理校长Mr. Key为获得 “卓越表现奖”的学生们颁奖。获奖班级代表与学生们依次走上舞台，从校领导手中接过象征荣誉的证书，他们的笑容与自信感染着在场的每一个人。

The awards ceremony reignited the celebration's energy. Principal Liu Lian presented certificates to seven outstanding star classes from the former sixth and seventh grades for their exceptional performance last semester. This was followed by the unveiling of the "Outstanding Progress Award," "Active Participation and Service Award," and "Scholastic Achievement  Award" presented by the three group leaders of the foreign teachers: Mr. Klimmek, Mr. Wendell and Mr. Laverrier, alongside supervisors of G6-8: Ms. Cheng Liyan, Ms. Wu Wenyi, and Ms. Shen Ying. Finally, Principal Liu Lian, Vice Principal Shen Tianyuan, and Assistant Principal of English Curriculum Mr. Key honored students with the "All-around Achievement Award." Representatives from the winning classes and students walked up to the stage to receive certificates of honor from the school leaders.

典礼在G6-8模范态度奖、体育进取奖及艺术特长奖的精彩展示动画中接近尾声。上午11时整，开学典礼圆满结束。同学们带着师长的嘱托与同伴的鼓励，满怀信心地返回教室。新程已启，愿每位同学都能把握时光，在这场探索与成长的旅程中，书写属于自己的精彩篇章。

The ceremony concluded with an animated display of the Exemplary Attitude Awards, Sports Spirit Awards, and Artistic Excellent Awards for Grades 6-8. At 11:00 A.M., the opening ceremony came to a close. With the new pen in hand, the new chapter has begun. May every middle school student write a youth story worthy of themselves and time.

The ceremony began with a speech by Ms. Liu Fang, Vice Principal of SHSID Middle and Primary School. She expressed gratitude to the teachers for their dedication and reminded students that a new semester is not only about grades, but also about personal growth. What will be remembered are not test scores, but the courage to raise a hand, the friendships along the way, and the strength to stand up after failure. She also encouraged students to stay curious, embrace trial and error, set small goals with persistence, and discover themselves through reading and self-expression.

随后，国际部浦东校区主任吴晓冬老师以“热爱与挑战”为主题进行了发言。他指出，兴趣不仅来自天赋和结果，更来自成长和单纯的热爱。他鼓励学生们不要把快乐局限于“擅长”，更要在努力与探索中找到喜悦，把每一次尝试、错误和小小进步都当作值得珍惜的收获。他寄语大家：真正的快乐不在终点，而在前行的旅程中。

Mr. Wu Xiaodong, Director of SHSID Pudong Campus, then delivered a speech on the theme of "Passion and Challenges." He pointed out that enjoyment can come not only from talent or results, but also from growth and a pure love for learning. He encouraged students not to confine joy to what they are good at, but to find happiness in the process itself— in every attempt, mistake, and small form of progress. He reminded everyone that true joy lies not at the finish line, but in the journey.

随后，四位优秀学生代表依次上台，分享他们的成长故事与新学期展望。二年级的Molly 用幽默的语言讲述了自己从写不好汉字到不断练习、逐渐进步的过程。她还分享了参加艺术节、才艺秀、工程大师赛、科技摄影赛的经历，鼓励大家勇敢尝试，收获自信与快乐。三年级的Michael 聚焦“责任感”，以生活趣事为例，阐释了“ownership”的意义，并号召大家成为有责任、有担当的人。四年级的Gary热情欢迎新同学，称这里是一所“神奇的学校”，在这里可以收获知识、养成习惯、实现梦想。他提醒大家保持好习惯，用勤奋和梦想描绘新学期的蓝图。五年级的Grace 则分享了如何在击剑训练和学业之间找到平衡。她通过合理规划时间，让运动与学习相辅相成，并鼓励大家找到属于自己的“时间秘诀”，在兴趣与学习中双丰收。

Next, four outstanding student representatives delivered inspiring speeches. Molly, a second grader, humorously described her journey from struggling with Chinese characters to improving through persistence, and she shared her experiences in the Art Festival, Talent Show, Engineering Master Competition, and Science Photography Contest, encouraging everyone to embrace challenges with joy. Michael, a third grader, spoke on the theme of "ownership," illustrating it with everyday examples and emphasize the importance of responsibility. Gary, a fourth grader, warmly welcomed new students, calling Pudong Campus a "magical school" where knowledge, habits, and dreams all come to life. He reminded his peers to uphold good study habits and to paint a colorful new semester together. Grace, a fifth grader, shared how she balanced fencing and academics through smart time management, proving that hobbies and study can complement each other. She encouraged everyone to discover their own "time secrets" and thrive in both learning and passion.

Amid enthusiastic applause, the ceremony reached its final session: the goal-sharing and award presentation. Selected students eagerly shared their aspirations for the new school year, filling the auditorium with excitement. Teachers then announced the names of award winners, whose faces shone with bright smiles. All students looked forward with anticipation to writing their own wonderful stories in the year ahead. The opening ceremony of SHSID Pudong Campus thus concluded successfully in a warm and joyful atmosphere.

On the morning of September 1, SHSID Lin'gang Campus held its grand opening ceremony for the new school year in the school auditorium. With high spirits, teachers and students gathered to welcome a semester.

典礼在一段精彩的学期回顾视频中拉开了序幕。明媚春光下的春游踏青、皮划艇课堂上的活力迸发、科技节中的奇思妙想、慈善义卖时的暖心善举、儿童节庆祝活动的纯真欢笑……一帧帧画面重现了师生共同走过的精彩历程，也点燃了全场对新学期的期待。

The ceremony began with a video montage highlighting last semester's memorable moments: a field Trip under bright sunshine, the energy of kayaking lessons, the creativity of the Science Fair, the kindness shown during the Charity Fair, and the pure laughter of Children's Day celebrations. Each frame captured the joyful journey shared by teachers and students, reigniting excitement for the new term ahead.

随后，典礼进入学生代表发言环节。首先上台的是来自2-2的Hayne，他以“带着梦想启航”为主题，回顾了一年级的美好时光，表达了对老师教诲的感恩、对同学情谊的珍惜，并信心满满地表示将在新学期勇敢面对挑战，与同学们共同成长。紧接着，3-1的Erin分享了如何成为一名“独立自主的学习者”。她通过生动有趣的皮划艇学习经历告诉大家，遇到困难时首先要独立思考，并勇敢尝试。两位同学的演讲真挚动人，赢得了全场热烈的掌声。

Next came student speeches. Hayne from 2-2 took the stage first with his talk, "Setting Sail with Dreams." He recalled his first-grade experiences, expressed gratitude to his teachers, cherished friendships with classmates, and voiced his determination to face new challenges with courage while growing together with his peers. Following him, Erin from 3-1 shared her insights on becoming an "independent learner." Drawing on her kayaking experience, she encouraged everyone to try with courage and think independently, noting that the very process of exploration leads to growth and surprises. Both heartfelt speeches earned warm applause from the audience.

Afterwards, the teaching teams of each grade were introduced on stage. With warm smiles, they extended greetings and best wishes for the new semester. Representing the faculty, Ms. Joanne from 2-2 encouraged students to always maintain a spirit of exploration as they navigated the vast ocean of knowledge. She also expressed her hope that teachers and students would work hand in hand to build a learning community rooted in respect, cooperation, and joy.

紧接着，“临港荣誉八星”颁奖环节将现场气氛推向高潮。主持人施晓婷老师邀请国际部初小段校长助理缪晓玲老师上台颁奖，并请缪老师发表讲话。他们接过象征荣誉的奖状，台下响起阵阵掌声，师生共同分享这份成就与喜悦。

The ceremony then reached a high point with the presentation of the "Lin'gang Eight-Star Honors." Host Teacher Xiaoting Shi invited Ms. Miao Xiaoling, Assistant Principal of SHSID Middle and Primary School to come on stage to present the award and deliver a speech. The honorees received warm applause, sharing their proud moment with the entire school community.

典礼最后是精彩的文艺表演。2-1的Claudia以一曲单簧管演奏拉开了序幕，悠扬的音乐令人沉醉；随后，3-2的Peyton献上了钢琴独奏《黑森林波尔卡》，灵动跳跃的旋律与娴熟自如的演奏相得益彰，充分展现了临港学子自信洋溢、多才多艺的风采。

The event concluded with a lively showcase of student performances. Claudia from Class 2-1 opened the performance segment with a graceful recorder solo of clear and flowing notes. She was followed by Peyton from 3-2, who delivered a spirited piano performance of "Black Forest Polka." His nimble playing and confident stage presence highlighted the talent and vitality of young learners at Lin'gang Campus.

新学期如期而至，新的学习旅程也正式开启。此次开学典礼不仅是一场热烈的欢迎仪式，更是一次关于成长与未来的美好期许。愿每一位学子都保持好奇、勇敢尝试，在日常学习中收获进步，在友好相处中结识伙伴，在每一次尝试中发现自己更多的可能，书写属于自己的精彩篇章！

As the new semester begins, a new journey of learning begins. This opening ceremony was not only a welcome, but also an expression of hope for the future. On the  September 1st, the new first-grade students at SHSID Hongkou Campus celebrated a significant milestone in their lives: the first Opening Ceremony at primary school. The campus was filled with anticipation and childlike wonder.

典礼在外教老师Mr. Callum热情洋溢的主持中拉开序幕。他用轻松活泼的语言欢迎每一位“小萌新”，迅速拉近了与孩子们的距离，现场气氛一下子变得温馨又热闹。

The ceremony kicked off enthusiastically with host Mr. Callum. Using lively and cheerful language, he welcomed each "little newbie," quickly bridging the distance between the children and creating a warm and bustling atmosphere.

紧接着，大屏幕上播放起特别为孩子们制作的假期视频——学校此前收集了一年级小朋友在暑假中为升入小学所做的准备片段，并将它们精心剪辑成片。看到自己的身影出现在视频里，孩子们忍不住欢呼雀跃，笑声不断。

Next, a holiday video that was specially produced for these freshly arrived students was played on the big screen— the teacher had collected clips of the first graders preparing for primary school during their summer holiday and edited them into a heartfelt film. Seeing themselves on screen, the children couldn't help but cheer and laugh with glee.

随后，来到了熟悉新校园的环节。首先，虹口校区一年级教师以及任课教师们依次登台，向孩子们亲切地打招呼、自我介绍，并送上开学寄语。接着，来自3-2班的Josephine作为高年级学生代表，为一年级小朋友带来了实用的校园生活建议，包括劳逸结合、制定时间计划、由易到难解决问题等方法，帮助他们更好地适应小学生活。老师们温暖的笑容和鼓励的话语以及大朋友的生动分享让孩子们感受到了校园大家庭的温暖与关爱。

Then came the familiarization session for the new campus. To start with, the first-grade homeroom and subject teachers took the stage one by one, greeting the children warmly, introducing themselves, and sharing opening ceremony wishes. Afterwards, senior student representative Josephine from 3-2 offered practical tips for school life to the first graders— including balancing learning and playing, making time schedules, and solving problems in order from easiest to hardest— all to help them adapt better to school life. The teachers' warm smiles, encouraging words, and the vivid sharing from their senior schoolmate made the children feel the kindness and care of the campus community.

最令人期待的环节来啦！学校为一年级孩子们准备了一把神奇的金色钥匙，这把钥匙象征着在新的学期，孩子们将用它打开知识、友谊与成长的大门。国际部虹口校区主任朱丹老师手持着金钥匙走上舞台，各班小代表分别手持一把小金钥匙，孩子们大声喊出了“We are ready to begin our journey!” 

Following this, the most anticipated moment arrived! The school had prepared a large symbolic golden key for the first graders, representing that in the new semester, the children will unlock the door to knowledge, friendship, and growth. Ms. Zhu Dan, Director of SHSID Hongkou Campus, held the golden key on stage, while class representatives held the mini versions, and the children shouted together:"We are ready to begin our journey!"

紧接着，一年级四位班主任手持四个神秘字母——H.E.R.O. 走上舞台，每一个字母都代表着学校希望孩子们具备的重要品质：H代表诚信（Honesty），E代礼仪（Etiquette），R代表尊重（Respect），O代表条理（Organization）。在老师们的介绍下，一年级新生们举起右手承诺：为成为HERO做好准备。相信未来，他们会在个人成长课的学习中更深入了解这些核心价值。

Guiding them on to their journey, the four first-grade homeroom teachers then took the stage holding four mysterious letters: H.E.R.O. Each letter represented an important quality the school hopes the children will develop. H for Honesty, E for Etiquette, R for Respect, and O for Organization. Through the teachers' introductions, the first graders together raised their right hands to pledge:"We are ready to become HEROes." In the future, they will learn more about these core values in personal growth classes.

虹口校区主任朱丹老师也登台致辞，她热烈欢迎所有小朋友加入虹口校区这个大家庭，并鼓励孩子们在这里快乐学习、勇敢探索、自信成长。朱丹老师还逐一介绍了学校为一年级新生特别准备的“开学大礼包”，里面既有实用的学习用品，也有充满心意的小惊喜，寄托了学校对孩子们新学期的美好祝愿。

Ms. Zhu Dan also gave a speech warmly welcoming all children to the Hongkou Campus family and encouraging them to learn happily, explore bravely, and grow confidently here. She introduced the special "Welcome Kits" prepared by the school for the first graders, which included both practical supplies and thoughtful little surprises, carrying the school's best wishes for the children in the new semester.

典礼最后，在Mr.Callum的带领下，孩子们一起喊出“Go Hongkou”。一年级全体师生一同拍摄了班级和年级大合影，一张张灿烂的笑脸，定格下这个值得纪念的美好瞬间。2025学年的开学典礼在温馨与欢乐中圆满落幕，也标志着一年级小萌新们在虹口校区正式开启了充满梦想、探索与成长的小学新篇章。愿孩子们在这里，每一天都发光发热，成为更好的自己！

At the end of the ceremony, led by Mr. Callum, the children chanted together:"Go Hongkou!" The entire first grade then took class and grade group photos, capturing this memorable moment with bright and smiling faces. The 2025 academic year Opening Ceremony concluded amid warmth and joy, marking the official start of the first graders' new chapter filled with dreams, exploration and growth at Hongkou Campus. May every child shine here every day, becoming the best versions of themselves! 

紧接着，虹口校区二、三年级的同学们以一场以“探索与成长”为主题的开学典礼，迎来了他们的新学期。

Immediately after, the second and third graders at Hongkou Campus welcomed their new semester with an opening ceremony themed "Journey to Discovery and Growth."

典礼在Ms. Nina热情洋溢的开场中正式开始。她以“Explore, Learn and Shine Together”为主题，与同学们热烈互动，迅速点燃了全场的气氛。同学们通过一段精彩视频回顾了上学期的高光时刻，阅读月、慈善义卖会、中国文化周、STEAM周等丰富活动一一重现，唤起了大家的美好记忆。

The ceremony began with an energetic opening by Ms. Nina. Centered on the values of "Explore, Learn and Shine Together," she interacted warmly with the students, quickly igniting the atmosphere. Through a highlights video, students revisited memorable events like Reading Month, the Charity Fair, the Chinese Culture Week and STEAM Week, which brought back wonderful memories for everyone. 

国际部初小段副校长刘芳老师为典礼致辞，她欢迎同学们重返校园，并鼓励大家在新的学期里勇于探索、坚持学习、尽情绽放。随后，另一段视频展示了二、三年级同学们精彩的暑假生活，旅行、运动、学习新技能……每一帧画面都充满了成长的活力与收获的喜悦。

Ms. Liu Fang, Vice Principal of SHSID Middle and Primary School, addressed the audience, welcoming students back to campus and encouraging everyone to explore boldly, learn persistently, and shine brightly in the new semester. Another video then showcased the second and third graders' exciting summer holidays— traveling, sports, learning new skills... Every frame brimmed with energy and the joy of growth.

来自2-2班的Cynthia同学与大家分享了她从一年级到二年级的成长历程。她分享了自己从害羞到主动帮助同学、学会时间管理和自主学习成长的过往经历，还回顾了参与各类活动的快乐体验。来自3-1班的Milton则以自主学习之旅为主题，分享了如何成为独立学习者的心得。他提出自创的“HERO学习法”，强调利用计划工具、自制测验和定期反思来培养独立性，体现出三年级学生更强的自我管理能力和思维深度。

Cynthia from Class 2-2 shared her journey from first to second grade, reflecting on her growth from being shy to proactively helping classmates, learning time management, and participating joyfully in various activities. Milton from Class 3-1 spoke about his path to becoming an independent learner, introducing his self-created "HERO method" and emphasizing the use of planning tools, self-made quizzes, and regular reflection to develop autonomy, demonstrating the self-management and deeper thinking  skills of third graders.

随后，二、三年级全体教师登台，为同学们送上新学期的祝福。老师们温暖有力的话语，传递出他们深深的期待与支持。

Afterwards, all second and third-grade teachers took the stage to offer their wishes for the new semester. Their empowering words conveyed deep expectations and support for the students.

最激动人心的环节是颁奖仪式。学校设立了“Most Independent Learner”、“Most Incredible Achievement”和“Super HERO”等多项大奖，表彰在不同领域表现突出的同学。获奖同学们依次上台，从老师手中接过奖状和奖品，他们的努力与成就赢得了全场热烈的掌声。

The most exciting part was the awards announcement. The school presented multiple awards, including "Most Independent Learner," "Most Incredible Achievement," and "Super HERO," to recognize students who excelled in various areas. Award winners stepped onto the stage one by one to receive certificates and prizes, their efforts and achievements celebrated with enthusiastic applause.

典礼尾声，每位同学都收到了一份精心准备的返校大礼包，里面不仅包含了上海中学160周年贴纸和纪念水杯，更承载了老师们满满的祝福。虹口校区主任朱丹老师介绍了大礼包里面的礼物以及背后的意义，也为全体同学送上新学期寄语，她鼓励大家保持好奇、勇于探索，在新的一年里合作共进、茁壮成长。

At the close of the ceremony, each student received a carefully prepared Welcome Kit, which included SHSID 160th-anniversary stickers and commemorative water bottles, embodying the teachers' heartfelt blessings. Ms. Zhu Dan explained the gifts inside and their meanings. She shared a message for the new semester, encouraging everyone to stay curious, explore courageously, and grow together in the year ahead.

在Ms. Nina的带领下，全体二三年级同学以一声铿锵有力的“Together——We grow stronger！”将典礼气氛推向高潮，也喊出了新学期的信心与决心。最后，各班级依次上台合影留念，为这场隆重而温暖的开学典礼画上圆满句号。同学们用他们的行动证明：他们不仅是学习的探索者，更是校园中的榜样力量。

Led by Ms. Nina, the second and third graders cheered in unison with powerful voices:"Together, we grow stronger!" lifting the ceremony to a climax and voicing their confidence and determination for the new semester. Finally, each class took turns coming on stage for group photos, bringing a perfect close to this meaningful and warm opening ceremony. The second and third graders demonstrated through their actions that they are not only explorers of learning but also role models within the school community.

新的学期，虹口校区一到三年级的学生已整装待发，期待着共同书写属于他们的精彩篇章。

The new semester has begun, and students from grades one to three at Hongkou Campus are ready to set out together and write their own brilliant chapter.
