May 2025 Global Exam Results
近日，国际文凭组织（IBO）与美国大学理事会（College Board）相继公布2025年5月全球统考成绩。上海中学国际部学子在IBDP与AP两大国际课程考试中表现卓越，核心数据显著高于全球平均水平。
Recently, the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) and the College Board (CB) released the results of the May 2025 global examinations. Students from SHSID delivered outstanding performances, with key statistics significantly exceeding global averages.
IBDP课程（2025届）：
我校实行1-12年级小初高贯通且全员直升的升学体系。2025届207名毕业生中有76名学生在10升11时自主选择了IBDP课程。
100%通过率：76名考生全员获得IBDP文凭,其中双语文凭占比77% [全球双语证书比率：27.3%] 。超过60%的学生选择英文和中文双母语课程组合。
DP课程总体表现：
80%以上的IBDP考生获40分以上（满分45分）的成绩 [全球：9.3%], 2名同学获得满分45分，全科总分均分则再次突破41分。值得一提的是，上中国际部自2011年起至今已经连续15年，IB全科总分均分超过41分。

IB DP （Class of 2025）
Our school follows an integrated Grade 1–12 education system, allowing all students to progress seamlessly from primary through middle to high school. Among the 207 graduates of the Class of 2025, 76 students chose to pursue the IB Diploma Programme when advancing from Grade 10 to Grade 11, based on their personal preference.
100% Pass Rate:
All 76 candidates successfully earned the IB diploma, with 77% receiving the prestigious bilingual diploma. (Global AVG for bilingual diplomas: 27.3%) Over 60% of the students completed both IBA Languge and Literature courses in English and Chinese.
Outstanding Performance:
More than 80% of SHSID IBDP students scored above 40 out of a maximum of 45 points, far surpassing the global average of 9.3%. Notably, two students achieved a perfect score of 45. The IB total average once again exceeded 41 points. Notably, SHSID has sustained this achievement for 15 consecutive years since 2011.

AP课程（10-12年级）：
全面电子化考试改革首年，100%圆满完成千人规模线上考试：
2025年5月上海中学国际部校内考点圆满完成403名学生（覆盖10-12年级）参与的1138人次AP考试。
学术质量卓越：
校内开设的AP课程，含AP英语语言、英语文学、AP世界史以及AP音乐、美术、数、理、化、生、计等等，全学科均分达4.8分（满分5分）。
AP Courses (Grades 10–12)
Successful Transition to Digital Exams:
Following the shift to digital exams, SHSID successfully conducted large-scale online testing with a 100% completion rate. In May 2025, 403 students from Grades 10 to 12 took a total of 1,138 AP exams at the SHSID test center.
Outstanding Academic Performance:
AP courses offered at SHSID include AP English Language, AP English Literature, AP World History, as well as AP Music, Art, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, and more, with an outstanding overall average score of 4.8 out of 5.
2025年6月A-Level课程成绩尚未揭晓，期待上中国际学子再次取得突破！
The June 2025 A-Level results are yet to be announced. SHSID looks forward to another year of outstanding achievements from the students.

Class of 2025 College Admissions Update
上中国际部的生源地和去向一直以来均呈现多元化特点，每届毕业生以美国为主要申请方向的比例一般维持在55%-65%，其余学生以其母国或感兴趣的地方为主要申请方向。2025 届毕业生共计 207 人，生源地涵盖美国、加拿大、澳大利亚、韩国、中国港澳台地区等 19 个国家和地区。
继今年5月份两名2024届毕业生收到来自哈佛、斯坦福、杜克、哥大等名校的转学录取以来，又有少量2025届毕业生陆续收到来自覆盖美国排名前10到前50大学的转正录取。截至 8 月初，2025 届毕业生的升学去向已初步明晰。其中，明确将赴美国深造的学生为125 人（约占毕业生总数60%），赴英国方向的有 16 人，赴加拿大方向的有 10 人，赴中国香港地区的有 23 人，另有学生将赴中国内地（北大、清华等）、澳大利亚（墨尔本大学等）、意大利（博科尼大学等）、荷兰（莱顿大学等）、日本（庆应、上智等）、韩国（高丽、延世等）、新加坡（南洋理工等）继续深造。2025届毕业生将在全球形成强大的上中国际校友网络，为未来的联结深耕与赋能。

SHSID Class of 2025 US/UK College Offers
SHSID has always welcomed students from diverse backgrounds and sends graduates to universities around the world. Each year, about 55% to 65% of students choose to apply mainly to schools in the United States, while the rest apply to their home countries or other places they are interested in. The Class of 2025 has 207 graduates from 19 countries and regions, including the U.S., Canada, Australia, South Korea, and Hong Kong China , Macau China, and Taiwan China. In May, two graduates from the Class of 2024 received transfer admission offers from top universities such as Harvard, Stanford, Duke, and Columbia. After that, several students from the Class of 2025 have also started receiving final admission offers from highly ranked U.S. universities, ranging from top 10 to top 50 schools. As of early August, most graduates’ plans are clear: 125 students, about 60% of the Class of 2025, will study in the U.S., 16 in the UK, 10 in Canada, and 23 in China Hong Kong. Others will continue their studies in the Chinese Mainland (including Peking University and Tsinghua University), Australia (University of Melbourne), Italy (Bocconi University), the Netherlands (Leiden University), Japan (Keio University and Sophia University), South Korea (Korea University and Yonsei University), and Singapore (Nanyang Technological University). The Class of 2025 will join a strong global SHSID alumni network that supports lifelong connections and opportunities.

SHSID Students Shine on the Global Stage
自2021年以来，上中国际部在信息学、化学、数学建模等顶尖学科竞赛中持续突破：先后摘得国际信息学奥林匹克铜牌、银牌各一枚，并有两名同学入选其母国信息学奥林匹克国家队；2025年，再添1人入选美国化学奥林匹克20人集训队，另有1人正全力冲刺母国数学奥林匹克国家队选拔。在HiMCM美国高中生数学建模竞赛、IMMC国际数学建模竞赛等高含金量赛事中，我校代表队亦曾问鼎最高荣誉。进入2025年暑假，这一连串的“高光”被再度刷新：
Since 2021, SHSID has achieved continuous breakthroughs in top-tier academic competitions in informatics, chemistry, and mathematical modeling. The school has earned one bronze and one silver medal at the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI). Another two students were selected for their respective countries' national informatics Olympiad teams. In 2025, another student was chosen for the 20-member training camp of the US National Chemistry Olympiad (USNCO), and one more is making a strong push to qualify for their home country's national mathematical Olympiad team. SHSID teams have also claimed top honors in prestigious contests such as the High School Mathematical Contest in Modeling (HiMCM) and the International Mathematical Modeling Challenge (IMMC). As the summer of 2025 unfolds, this string of achievements continues to grow—setting new milestones for academic excellence.
十战全胜，机器人战队创造历史
Robotics Team Claims Top Honors at FTC European Premier
7月5日，FTC欧洲超级联赛在荷兰埃因霍温收官。我校机器人战队与来自25个国家的96支顶尖队伍同场竞技，资格赛十战十胜，以首支全胜战绩晋级的中国队伍身份创造纪录；淘汰赛中，他们又以五场全部400+的强势得分锁定分区冠军、总决赛季军，并以478分刷新赛会单场最高分，同时摘得设计专项二等奖。赛后，战队在全球逾3万支FTC队伍中跃升至第29位。
颁奖时刻，同学们在舞台上兴奋地举起中国国旗，队旗和上中国际部校旗欢庆胜利。在一周的比赛中，我校队员充分展现了团队协作与创新能力。面对全球强队，他们反复调试、优化机器人性能，最终取得突破性成绩。评审环节，机器人独特的设计理念与队员专业的答辩赢得评委的高度好评，并吸引了多家媒体采访报道。
On July 5, the FTC European Premier Event concluded in Eindhoven, Netherlands. Our school’s FTC Robotics Team 22389 AE86 competed with 96 other top teams from 25 different countries around the worlds.They became the first China Regional Team in global competitions to rank 1st in qualification matches with 10 consecutive victories. Through scoring over 400 points in all 5 playoff matches, they ultimately won 1st place in the Escher Division and 3rd place in the overall event, also setting a new event high score of 478 points, as well as winning the Design Award 2nd place! Team AE86 is now ranked No. 29 globally amongst 30,000 other FTC teams.
At the award ceremony, the team excitedly raised the Chinese national flag, team flags, and the school flag on stage to celebrate their victory. In the week-long contest, AE86 showcased seamless teamwork and bold innovation, out-optimizing global rivals to secure a breakthrough. Their robot’s distinct design and sharp defence wowed judges and drew widespread media coverage.
上中国际部辩论社，再掀科技思辨浪潮
SHSID Debate Club Launches New Round of National Debate
继2024年成功举办首届赛事后，上海中学国际部辩论社再次勇挑重担，牵头组织了第二届“科际穿越杯”中学生辩论邀请赛。本届赛事聚焦人工智能（AI）等科技前沿议题，规模较去年显著扩张，吸引了众多国内顶尖中学辩论队伍踊跃参与，并获得“人民日报”等多家主流媒体关注报道，在中学生辩论领域掀起了一股科技思辨热潮。从线上初赛到线下对决，辩论社成员与志愿者精心筹备、全力保障，为辩手搭建专业交流平台。他们虽未参与正赛角逐，但在7月18日决赛当日，对决科学家、校长以及奥运冠军联队，以“脑机接口技术会/不会拉大人类不平等？”为题，为观众们奉献了一场精彩的表演赛。
Following the success of its inaugural event in 2024, the SHSID Debate Club once again led the organization of the second “SSTM Cup”National Science and Innovation Debate Invitational Tournament. This year’s competition expanded significantly in scale, drawing top debate teams from leading high schools across China and focusing on cutting-edge topics such as artificial intelligence (AI). Widely covered by major media outlets, the event sparked renewed interest in science-focused debate among students. From online preliminaries to in-person finals, Debate Club members and volunteers ensured the event ran smoothly, providing a professional platform for academic exchange. Although not competing in the main rounds, SHSID students delivered a standout performance in the July 18 showcase match, debating a team of scientists, principals, and an Olympic champion on the motion “Will brain-computer interface technology widen human inequality?”—offering the audience a compelling display of critical thinking and collaboration.

11th Grader Wins Gold Medal at IEO
7月28日，第8届国际经济学奥林匹克（IEO）在阿塞拜疆落幕。我校11年级学生作为中国代表队成员，获个人金牌。本届赛事，中国队五名选手共获4金1铜。我校选手在Business Case环节发挥领导力，带领团队组织分工，剖析题目，该环节获得总分全球第4的突破性成绩。 同时，团队总分全球第3，更是创下自2020年赛事扩容至60余个国家和地区以来的最佳战绩。
On July 28th, the 8th International Economics Olympiad (IEO) concluded in Azerbaijan. An 11th-grade student from our school, as a member of Team China, won an individual gold medal. In this year's competition, all five Chinese contestants achieved outstanding results, securing a total of 4 gold and 1 bronze medals. During the Business Case segment, our student demonstrated exceptional leadership by guiding the team in task allocation and problem analysis, contributing to a global 4th-place finish in this category. Additionally, Team China ranked 3rd overall in the total score, marking the best performance since the competition expanded to over 60 countries and regions in 2020.
棍网球校队全国锦标赛1金1铜，两女将出征亚太区锦标赛
Stallions Lacrosse: National Youth Championships 1 Gold 1 Bronze, Two Starlets Set for Asia-Pacific U16
7月25日，2025年全国青少年棍网球锦标赛在贵州六盘水揭幕。我校男女队与来自北京、上海、四川、江苏、中国香港等全国60支队伍、800余名运动员同场角逐。最终，女队以全胜战绩夺得U15女子组冠军，男队摘得U18组季军，守门员Andy荣膺该组别最有价值球员。
8月，首届亚太区U16六人制棍网球锦标赛将在韩国打响。经层层选拔，我校两名十年级同学脱颖而出——一人入选中国女子U16代表队，一人入选中国台北女子U16代表队，期待她们在国际舞台上再创佳绩！
On July 25, the 2025 National Youth Lacrosse Championships kicked off in Liupanshui, Guizhou. Our school’s teams competed alongside more than 800 athletes from 60 teams across China. Ultimately, our girls’ team won the championship of U15 division with an undefeated record, while the boys' team secured third place in the U18 division, with goalkeeper Andy earning the Most Valuable Player award for that division..
This August, the inaugural Asia-Pacific U16 Sixes Lacrosse Championship will kick off in South Korea. After rigorous selection, two of our 10th-grade students have stood out—one has been chosen for the Chinese U16 Women's National Team, while another has made the Chinese Taipei U16 Women's Team. We look forward to their outstanding performances on the stage!
